Cat Fanciers’ Association holds cat show Sunday

The Cat Fanciers’ Association (CFA) hosts the ‘CFA Just Cat-In-Around’ Ohio cat show this Sunday. 

The event will be at the Wood County Fairgrounds from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 8, and  Sunday, April 9, according to the Cat Fanciers’ Association.

Admission is $6 for adults, $5 for senior citizens and $4 for kids, but children six years old and under are free of charge. 

The first 50 children will receive free cat coloring books, according to Wood County’s press release. 

There will be 8 different judges and over 100 different types of cats to be featured at the event.

The show features cats and kittens competing for best in show in four separate competitions throughout the day.

One winner will be determined by visitors’ choice meaning the visitors can vote for their favorite cat.

Merchandise such as cat toys and other feline products will be for sale at the event, and visitors will have the opportunity to speak with different breeders and exhibitors.

CFA is the world’s largest registry of pedigreed cats and this event features multiple purebred cats along with household cats.
