Former Northern Oklahoma – Tonkawa sophomore guard Javontae Campbell has announced he is transferring to Bowling Green.  

The Muskogee, Oklahoma, native is the third player to transfer to Bowling Green this offseason, joining Braelon Green and Youseff Khayat. 

Last season, Campbell averaged 26.5 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game in 24 games with the Mavericks.  

 Campbell was the second-highest scoring guard in junior college (JUCO) last season. 

 Campbell was named an Honorable Mention National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) All-American for his performance last year.  

In his career during his time at the JUCO level, Campbell averaged 21.0 points per game on 50.1% shooting.
