Man pleads guilty to murder of pregnant BG woman

Jimmy David Cole, 30, pleaded guilty in the murder of a pregnant BG woman, according to Wood County court documents.

A man facing a series of charges in the murder of a pregnant Bowling Green woman earlier this year, pleaded guilty in a court hearing Monday, Nov. 13.

The Wood County Prosecuting Attorney said the victim was pregnant with Cole’s child at the time of her death.

Jimmy David Cole, 30, entered a guilty plea to five charges in relation to the murder of Alicia Rosa back in March of 2023. BGPD officers say they found Rosa dead in her apartment, suffering from multiple stab wounds on the 300 block of N. Main Street in Bowling Green.

Cole was charged with following felony offenses:

  • Charge 1 – murder
  • Charge 2 – murder
  • Charge 3 – Attempted Murder
  • Charge 4 – Felonious Assault
  • Charge 5 – Felonious Assault

Cole is being held at the Wood County Justice Center and awaits sentencing at this time.
