Local favorite the Joe Baker Band drew a large crowd.
Hundreds of people filled Eberly Avenue and the surrounding neighborhood for the fourth annual Porchfest Saturday.
Kicking off at 1:45 with Samba Bateria marching from Hankey Street, the event included 18 musical acts across about a dozen venues ranging from front porches (hence the event’s name), garages, and inside Arlyn’s Good Beer. The event featured many local acts including local favorite Freight Street, who recently released a new single and announced they will soon be on tour but also new-to-the-area bands including Rose Cora Perry and The Truth Untold from Canada.
Dates for next year’s event have not been announced.
