There are many ways to travel around campus.

There are three transit systems that move all through campus for the entire school year. They hit almost any stop and can be driving up till 1 am depending on the Transit.

They are open to going to any place outside their route and will try to get you there as close as possible without disrupting other students.

They also pick up people who do not go to the campus as long as they don’t disturb students. The transit also goes to places outside the campus like Meijer’s which gives an incentive for normal civilians to use it.

There are also some funny stories involving the transit system.

According to Parking Services employee Aileen Berry, there have been many times people have brought unexpected things on. A good example being when the driver brought their baby onto the transit.

Another story was when, according to Berry, someone kept bringing their dog onboard as well. Students allegedly loved playing with the dog and being with them, even though it isn’t necessarily allowed due to allergies.

If, when going on a walk, you for some reason do not feel safe, like for example if someone threatened them, they can call the on campus police and ask or an escort.

An escort will make sure the person calling can get to their destination safe and sound.

In the small chance you are in an emergency and are not able to get an escort, there are also Blue Phones around the Campus.

Blue Phones are lines that directly lead to the on campus police station.

If you aren’t able to send your location, there are also camera’s being set up so they can hop on the cameras and find you wherever you are to help.
