Bowling Green men’s basketball junior guard DJ Smith has transferred to Robert Morris.
The North Little Rock, Arkansas, native played his first two collegiate seasons at Arkansas Little Rock before playing under Todd Simon at BG this past season.
Due to an injury, Smith played in just eight games for the Orange and Brown, averaging 14.3 minutes, 4.0 points, 1.4 rebounds, 0.9 assists and 0.5 steals per game. He shot 35.7% (10-28) from the field, 31.6% (6-19) on three-pointers and 100% (6-6) on free throws.
Smith, who entered the portal on April 26, is the fourth Falcon to transfer this offseason. Senior forward Rashaun Agee, junior guard Marcus Hill and sophomore guard Anthony McComb III transferred to USC, NC State and the University of New Hampshire, respectively.
Bowling Green freshman guard EJay Greer and sophomore guard PJ Edwards remain in the transfer portal.
