About two weeks ago, the Bowling Green Rotary, BGSU’s Marvin Center for Leadership, and BGSU Athletics announced they were partnering with Kids Coalition Against Hunger to package 60,000 meals for distribution around the community and around the world and put a call out to volunteers.
The community responded.
Yesterday, two shifts showed up to the Perry Field House on campus and worked together to put together the meals. One Rotary volunteer said they were pleased with the volunteer turnout and praised the Kids Coalition Against Hunger team for its efficiency.
