BGSU men’s golf team competed in The Match Play tournament at Lake Jovita Golf & Country Club in Dade City, Florida.
The tournament was hosted by fellow Mid-American conference member Ball State.
The two-day event had the Falcons go 2-1-1 with the lone loss against Loyola-Chicago and wins over the Central Michigan Chippewas and the USC Upstate Spartans.
Bowling Green ended up finishing fifth out of eight teams competing.
Senior Darin Hudak had himself a tournament as he finished fourth overall in the field with graduate student Evan Johnson finishing not far behind as he tied for seventh overall.
In the individual match play events, Hudak and Johnson along with Luke Evans and Andrew Lee all finished the tournament 2-1-0 with Zander Gibson finishing 0-1-2 and Ethan Irvine going 0-3-0.
The Falcons continue their season next weekend as they travel to Mesquite, Nevada for the Mesquite Desert Classic hosted by Eastern Kentucky.
