Falcon Media recently published a story indicating demolition of the Elder-Beerman store at Woodland Park Mall would begin on March 1.

We recognize and regret the error. It was rather the Elder-Beerman in Toledo scheduled to be demolished beginning March 1.

We apologize to the Woodland Park Mall and to the people of Bowling Green. We removed the web story and all social media posts regarding the original article Wednesday.

The BG News will be running a correction in the next issue and posting on socials that we have made a mistake.
