The Bowling Green women’s basketball team fell 62-56 to the Toledo Rockets on Saturday.

The Battle of I-75 concluded the 2022-23 regular season.

The Rockets locked the #1 seed in the upcoming MAC tournament with their victory.

Despite the outcome, the Falcons battled hard.

BG Senior Elissa Brett scored a game-high 23 points for the orange and brown, hitting seven three-pointers.

BGSU forward Allison Day netted 14 on the afternoon as well.

Falcon sophomore Jocelyn Tate managed seven points and seven rebounds, but played only 24 minutes due to foul trouble.

With this loss, the Falcons will take the #2 seed in the MAC tournament this week and are set to take on the Eastern Michigan Eagles on Wednesday at Rocket Mortgage Field House in Cleveland with tip-off at 4:00.
