BG volleyball dropped their 2026 non-conference schedule for the upcoming season on Monday, June 15. Non-conference matches feature Ohio State, Xavier and Missouri, as well as two tournaments hosted by the Orange and Brown in the Stroh Center.
The Falcons start their season in Columbus for the Jim Stone Challenge. There they will face off with the Ohio State Buckeyes on Friday, Aug. 28, Northern Kentucky on Saturday, Aug. 29th and Fresno State on Sunday, Aug. 30th.
Next is the Best Western Invitational, hosted at the Stroh Center by BGSU, where the Falcons will meet Arkansas State on Friday, Sept. 4th, at 1 p.m. EST, followed by American University at 7 p.m. EST. BG will face Northern Kentucky for the second straight weekend on Saturday, Sept. 5th, at 5 p.m. EST.
The Orange and Brown are on the road again for the following weekend of conference play, driving down to Cincinnati for the Xavier Invitational. First on the schedule is Austin Peay State University on Friday, Sept. 11th, followed by the Saint Louis Billikens and the Musketeers of Xavier on Saturday, Sept. 12th.
For the last two non-conference matches, the Falcons will return to the Stroh, hosting the Dayton Flyers and Missouri Tigers in the BGSU/Toledo Invitational. Toledo will be present for this invitational, but will not play against the Orange and Brown, saving the Battle of I-75 for their Mid-American Conference meetings.
BG will square off against the Flyers on Friday, Sept. 18th, at 7 p.m. EST, and Missouri on Saturday, Sept. 19th, at 12 p.m. EST for their last match before conference play.
Head coach Alex DelPiombo and her staff previously released the full conference schedule for the 2026 season on April 29.
