BGSU’s first-ever Bachelor of Science in Nursing pinning ceremony will be Monday.

The ceremony will be at 5:30 p.m. in Olscamp Hall, Room 101, Monday, April 3, according to BGSU’s press release.

Guests must have an invitation to attend the ceremony. Parking will be available in Lot N.

BSN pinning ceremonies are a time-honoring tradition in nursing, where graduate candidates are recognized for their achievements and welcomed into the profession.

Students receiving a nursing pin signify membership in a society of nurses. Nearly four million members are currently in the United States.

Those looking to attend future School of Nursing events can contact the school’s offices at 419-372-6766.

People can find information about BGSU’s School of Nursing and its programs on the Health and Human Services website.
