BGSU Men’s Basketball hires new assistant coaches

Bowling Green State University men’s basketball head coach Todd Simon announced three new additions to the men’s basketball staff.

Todd Simon is being joined by Bryce Martin, Lourawls Nairn Jr., and German Srulovich.

Bryce Martin and Lourawls Nairn Jr. are joining as assistant coaches while German Srulovich was named the Director of Basketball Operations.

The trio has prior coaching experience with Simon during his tenure at Southern Utah.

Martin spent two years as an assistant coach and five years as the Director of Basketball Operations at SUU. He was a contributor to the Thunderbirds’ recent success, earning 23 and 24-win seasons

Nairn spent one season as an assistant coach alongside Simon, going 24-13 and making it to the WAC championship. He also has coaching experience at his alma mater at Michigan State University.

Srulovich spent the past three seasons at Southern Utah, with his last two seasons as a director. He has been a part of three 20-win seasons with Simon.
