Men’s Golf finishes eleventh at Robert Kepler Invitational

The Bowling Green men’s golf team finished in 11th place at the Robert Kepler Invitational in Columbus, Ohio, shooting 48 over par.

Ohio State ran away with their own tournament as they finished the 71 hole tournament +2 and 18 strokes ahead of the next team, Kent State.

For the Falcons, they had a top-10 finisher with sophomore Connor Gdovin finishing in seventh place, shooting four over par.

Gdovin also won the par-3 competition, finishing -2 over the 71 holes. 

The next Falcon came in 35th place, and sophomore Darin Hudak shot +12 through the weekend.

Hudak had one eagle, tying him for second in the tournament. He also ended up in third for pars with 37 of them.

Senior Dylan Fitchet shot +16 over the 72 holes, earning him 59th place.

Fellow upperclassman Brandon Rattray is one stroke back of Fitchet and in 62nd place.

Rounding out the Falcon five in Columbus was Tom Bell, who ended in 87th place with a +24 tournament.

The Falcons will be back on the course one last time this season as they head to Athens, Alabama for the MAC Championships hosted by Ohio University.
