Falcon hockey team sets schedule for 2023-24 season

The upcoming Bowling Green Hockey season is now set in stone with this week’s release of the 2023-2024 schedule. The 34-game schedule breaks down into 24 CCHA contests and 10 non-conference games.

The Falcons open the season on the road at Robert Morris on October 7, with the home opener at Slater Family Ice Area on tap for the following night. Following Robert Morris, the Falcons will continue non-conference play with Augustana, Western Michigan, and Mercyhurst. Note: Although Augustana is now a CCHA member, the games will be counted as non-conference for the 2023-2024 season.

St. Thomas will serve as the first official conference matchup of the year at Slater November 10 and 11. November will be an action-packed month of home hockey for the Falcons with six scheduled home games during a 23-day span.

The 2024 portion of the schedule sees the Falcons open in a home-and-home series with Ohio State January 5 and 6 before continuing conference play against Minnesota State.

The final regular season home series for will happen February 23 and 24 against Michigan Tech. One week later the Falcons will round out the regular season on the road as they take on Northern Michigan.
