BGSU’s Democracy and Public Policy Research Network is hosting a new leadership luncheon featuring former Ohio governors Richard Celeste and Bob Taft.
All students, faculty and staff are invited to the luncheon on April 1 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Bowen-Thompson Student Union Ballroom.
Celeste and Taft will join BGSU President Rodney Rogers for a bipartisan discussion on leadership, civility and public service in a discussion led by Randy Gardner, former chancellor of higher education in Ohio and current chair of the Democracy and Public Policy Network’s advisory board.
Founded in 2024, the Democracy and Public Policy Research Network conducts research, polls and policy briefs meant to inform. It provides students with faculty-guided research projects, podcast productions, speaking engagements, workshops and civic events.
To attend the free event, you must register by 11:59 p.m. on March 25. For more information on the Democracy and Public Policy Research Network and to register for the leadership luncheon, click here.
