Bowling Green men’s soccer has acquired sophomore forward Raul Cedillo from Lewis & Clark Community College in the transfer portal.

Cedillo spent his freshman year with the Trailblazers, leading the team to a 10-3-4 record while scoring 13 goals and adding a pair of assists.

The Ecuadorian native earned National Junior College Athletic Association All-America Third-Team honors in his only season at Lewis & Clark.

BGSU men’s soccer head coach Eric Nicols is excited about the addition of Cedillo to a team that lost three forwards this offseason in Eli Shope, Nathan Masters and Daniel Cerezo.

“Raul is a target forward with strong hold-up play and a knack for scoring goals,” said Nichols. “We’re really excited to get him here and get him acclimated to BG soccer.”

Cedillo could quickly see action for the Orange and Brown as the Falcons will kick off the College Spring League at Michigan on Wednesday, Feb. 21.
