BGSU Men’s Soccer has revealed another addition to the team’s 2024 freshman class—Midfielder Ryko Bodurov from Olentangy Berlin High School.

In his senior season with the Bears, Bodurov scored 22 goals and recorded seven assists. He was also the Ohio Capital Conference Player of the Year and was named to the United Soccer Coach’s first-team All-Conference and All-District. After his senior season, Bodurov was named to the All-State First Team.

Bodurov also played club ball at Club Ohio and recently was a trialist for MLS Next Pro side Columbus Crew 2, the second team of Major League Soccer’s Columbus Crew.

His primary position is as an attacking midfielder, but he can also play further up front as a forward as well.

Bodurov joins winger Ryliee Siddall and defender Yoann Araujo as a part of Bowling Green’s incoming freshman class. The Falcons kick off the 2024 season in late August.
