The University Department of Theatre, along with the Film Elsewhere Series is hosting “Red Horse Imagination: Dream Worlds and Dreamscapes,” a play based on “The Red Horse Animation.”
“It has become a different type of show based on [The Red Horse Animation] that our younger actors have made their own,” said Assistant Director Sejohn Serowik.
The show is about a young girl who fell off of a horse and went into a coma, Serowik said. The plot focuses on her being in a dream state while she is in a coma.
“It shows her trying to break through the fear of being in that state,” he said.
The show is Friday Sept. 27 and Saturday Sept. 28 at 8 p.m. in the Eva Marie Saint Theatre, in the Wolfe Center for the Performing Arts. Doors open at 7:45. Tickets are free and seating is limited. Serowik recommends getting there early.
