“Insidious: Chapter 2”

Grade: B+

The second installment of “Insidious” focuses on the Lambert family again when strange things begin happening not long after Josh Lambert [Patrick Wilson] saves his son Dalton [Ty Simpkins] from a demon in the Further.

The movie made a full circle, tying in very well with the first movie.

It is rare to find a sequel to a movie that is honestly worth watching, but “Insidious: Chapter 2” is definitely worth your time.

From the very beginning you are drawn in, the movie is very fast paced and easy to follow.

If you have not seen the first movie it may be difficult to understand what is happening, but as long as you understand the basics of the movie you could put two and two together.

For someone who hates scary movies with a passion it is a big deal for me to see one, and this honestly though “Insidious: Chapter 2” was very scary, it was tolerable.

I found myself enticed by plot, and I was even more surprised to find that the plot was so detailed and complete.

However, I gave it a B+ instead of an A because I was so scared after that I had to sleep with my light on. With all that said, if you enjoy those movies which scare you enough to sleep with a light on like me or not, it has a great story line to it.
