Slowly but surely the campus is returning to life and that will ramp up quickly beginning Tuesday as students begin moving in to residence halls. So beginning Monday evening and continuing through the week, some parking lots will close and traffic patterns will change.

Bottom line, plan ahead to avoid frustration and/or a parking ticket. All the details can be found here.

There are almost too many events to keep track of, especially with the National Tractor Pull Championships happening at the Wood County Fairgrounds, but here are a few kickoff events to note:

Ice To Meet You: Free snow cones, music and yard games at the Carillon Tower Tuesday evening.

Kickstart Fall At Kreischer: Check out new dining options and lounge spaces Wednesday, then end the evening with Movie Under the Stars.

Flock The Block: This is the big one. Starting Thursday at 8:45 p.m., students can check out live talent, a glow party, free lemonade truck, extreme air inline bungee trampoline, ninja courses, climbing walls, leather bracelet making, fire pits, and giant games. Students can also purchase food from the new Falcon Food Truck with Falcon dollars.

There’s a lot more on tap. You can find details on everything from yoga to learning to skate to pickle ball on the university’s event page.
