March is Women’s History Month: celebrate at BGSU

Looking for something to do after spring break?

BGSU’s 2024 Young Women in Leadership (YWIL) Conference will take place Wednesday, March 13, from 1-4 p.m. in the BTSU ballroom.

This annual, campus-wide conference is sponsored by organizations like Women in Business Leadership (WBL) and the Feminist Organization Rallying for Gender Equity (FORGE), and seeks to further female empowerment during Women’s History Month.

Each year, YWIL “brings together over 200+ students, staff and corporate sponsors to discuss various topics to empower leaders to make a positive change in their communities,” according to their website.

This year, YWIL will feature six speakers, including Keynote Speaker Dr. Patrice McClellan, president and lead strategist of leadership coaching company The Ronald Group.

YWIL is free to attend. The event offers scholarships, networking opportunities and refreshments.
