After an apparent commitment to the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP), former BGSU women’s basketball player Sofia Moschen has signed with the Stetson University Hatters, according to her Instagram account.
Moschen, a redshirt freshman, saw limited playing time with BGSU, only appearing in 13 games with 60 total minutes.
She averaged 2.2 points, 0.8 rebounds and 0.1 assists per game on 40.9% from the field and 38.9% from three while with the Falcons
Moschen is joining a Stetson team that went 20-12 overall and 12-6 in conference play, placing them fourth in the Atlantic Sun conference, and falling in the first round of the Women’s National Invitational Tournament to Florida International, 73-76, in overtime.
Moschen is the fourth Falcon to find a home, joining Paige Kohler, Taya Ellis, Johnea Donahue and Jasmine Fearne as the other Falcons to find new teams.
