Former BGSU women’s basketball guard Paige Kohler has transferred to Fairfield University of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC), she announced on Instagram Tuesday morning.
Kohler spent three years with the Falcons and finished her career with the Orange and Brown, recording 1,222 points, 395 rebounds and 315 assists.
She is the only player under head coach Fred Chmiel to have started every single game during the last three seasons, starting in 93 contests.
This past season, Kohler was named to the All-MAC Third Team and became the first player in program history to record the first triple-double, scoring 17 points, 10 assists and 10 rebounds against Lourdes.
During her freshman campaign, Kohler earned a spot on the MAC All-Freshman Team and then an All-MAC Honorable Mention spot during her sophomore season.
Kohler finishes her Bowling Green career averaging 13.1 points, 3.9 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game.
The Fairfield Stags finished 28-5 overall and 19-1 in MAAC play, winning their third straight 2026 Air Force Reserve MAAC Women’s Basketball Championship. They lost in the first round of the 2026 NCAA Championship to No. 22 Notre Dame.
Kohler becomes the fifth Falcon to transfer, joining Johnea Donahue, Taya Ellis, Sofia Moschen and Jasmine Fearne.
