Swimming finishes preseason with Tom Stubbs Relays

The 2013-2014 Falcon swim team concluded the preseason schedule with the Tom Stubbs Relays on Friday night.

Bowling Green collected four out of ten wins in the events competing against teams including MAC rivals Akron and Toledo, as well as Findlay and Youngstown State.

The event was hosted by Fremont Ross High School as a result of the renovations undergoing the Student Recreation Center.

Saturday afternoon the Falcons participated in the Jean Campbell Alumni Meet with former BSGU swimmers as part of the homecoming festivities.

After finishing third in the MAC Championship and 4-5 in the overall season, the Falcons are looking to continue the improvements throughout the year.

From the returning swimmers, 13 hold a top ten individual all-time record with five swimmers standing at the top of those records. (Some quotes from some players would be nice here…) Bowling Green will start their dual-meet season upon traveling to Eastern Michigan on October 26.
