On March 18, 2026, Bowling Green State University (BGSU) will host a Latino/a/x Issues Conference.
As part of the conference, people can nominate those at BGSU who have made an impact on Latino/a/x communities at BGSU and beyond for several awards.
The awards include the Outstanding Undergraduate Student Award, Outstanding Graduate Student Award, Outstanding Staff Award, Outstanding Faculty Award, Outstanding Community-at-Large Award, Outstanding Alumni Award and the Dr. Miguel Ornelas Award, which is given in honor of Dr. Miguel Ornelas, who was a Human Relations Commission member and Director of Affirmative Action at BGSU before his death in 1989.
Nominations for these awards are due on Dec. 5, and can be submitted through the link below:
