Bowling Green State University (BGSU) has different on-campus organizations that create a supportive space for women. Here are four organizations on campus available for students to join.
Queens of Color
Queens of Color is a student organization focused on fostering community, empowerment and leadership for women of color. Through community-building activities, the group strives to create a supportive environment for students all across campus. Women of color are encouraged to join and build relationships with other women in a safe space.

National College Panhellenic Council
The National College Panhellenic Conference is a body of 11 National Panhellenic Conference chapters at BGSU. These sorority chapters are organizations made by women for women, and involvement within these organizations are crafted to shape the lives of their members and those around them for the better. Sorority life has become an integral part of BGSU’s culture and tradition, and the Greek community continues to help give back to those around them. Through opportunities for individual growth, scholarship, service and connections, joining the BGSU CPC is a great opportunity to connect and bond with your peers in new and exciting ways.

Women in Business Leadership
Women in Business Leadership is an on-campus student organization that gives students access to education, career connections and engaging group activities to help prepare them for the business setting. Through bi-weekly meetings, intriguing speakers, a mentorship program and a yearly leadership conference, the WBL’s mission is to bridge the gap in the business field between understanding and empowerment of women.

CHAARG
Changing Health Attitudes and Actions to Recreate Girls (CHAARG) is a national organization that has chapters at multiple chapters at universities across the country, including BGSU. The goal of the organization is to empower women and help them feel comfortable and strong in the weight room. CHAARG wants to help girls try new things and give them a safe space to do so. Every girl at BGSU is encouraged to join. BGSU’s CHAARG meets every Thursday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. and 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.
