The Cincinnati Bengals selected Texas A&M edge and former BGSU standout Cashius Howell with the ninth pick in the second round of the 2026 NFL Draft (41st overall).
Prior to Texas A&M, Howell spent three years donning the Orange and Brown. In his best season of 2023, Howell registered a conference-leading 9.5 sacks and a forced fumble while receiving Third Team All-Mid-American Conference (MAC) recognition.
After transferring to the Aggies in 2024, Howell spent two seasons in College Station, tallying 15.5 sacks and 22.5 tackles for loss. He was named the SEC Defensive Player of the year and a unanimous All-American in 2025.
