Community members gather by the Wood County Public Library for a tree lighting ceremony.

The 68th Annual Bowling Green Community Holiday Parade will kick off the holiday season on Nov. 18 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The parade starts downtown and will feature many BGSU groups and organizations.

The Bowling Green Holiday Parade’s theme for the 2023 year is “holiday sparkle.” There will be colorful floats, bands and a “special appearance from Santa Claus.”

The Holiday Parade Parklet Experience is returning this year. Four raffle winners will win gift baskets and usage of the Juniper Brewing Company, Grounds for Thought and Flatlands Coffee Parklet, in addition to a second-story viewing site with AWV at the Huntington Bank Building.

Sponsorships for the event are open. Additionally, volunteers are needed for the parade.
