BGSU American Cultural Studies Ph.D. student Haley Shipley will host the next installment of The Hancock Historical Museum’s popular Classic Movie Night series Friday, May 16.
This week’s movie features Don Knotts and Joan Staley in The Ghost and Mr. Chicken, a lighthearted 1966 mystery.
Classic Movie Night is free and open to the public and will be held at the Hancock Historical Museum, 422 West Sandusky Street in Findlay. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the film begins at 7 p.m. with limited seating. Complimentary popcorn and refreshments will be available.
Shipley, a student supervisor at the Browne Popular Culture Library, is also a member of the Ray Browne Association (RBA) and according to a museum news release, “RBA students will provide historical background and facilitate discussion at select movie nights.”
