The Bowling Green State University (BGSU) Falcon Marching Band will be performing in the 2027 Rose Parade.
Released by BGSU on August 24, the band will march and perform in the parade in Pasadena, California, on January 1, 2027.
This comes after the news that BGSU Falcon Marching Band Director Jon Waters will lead the Band Director’s Marching Band in the 2026 Rose Parade. He directed the same band in the 2023 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
The Rose Parade travels 5.5 miles and features bands, floral-covered floats and tournament entries for the Rose Bowl Game.
Bands are selected based on musicianship, uniqueness, entertainment value and marching ability according to the Pasadena Tournament of Roses’ website.
