The Academy of Distinguished Alumni will be inducting three honorees, one of the highest honors bestowed by the university.
The academy was established to recognize the accomplishments of alumni who have made significant contributions in their professional field and their communities.
This year’s honorees are: Susan P. Mucciarone ‘79, retired managing executive of private wealth at The Glenmede Trust Company NA, John M. Starcher Jr. ‘93, president and CEO of Bon Secours Mercy Health and Michael R. Wilcox ‘75, chairman and CEO of Wilcox Financial and Wilcox Sport Management.
The event will begin at 6 p.m. on Thursday Sept. 11 in the Lenhart Grand Ballroom at the Bowen-Thompson Student Union, and will include a reception for all attendees, followed by dinner and the formal program at 6:45 p.m.
