On Monday, Nov. 10, the first round of leaf collection begins in Bowling Green.
To see if you qualify, a tracking map is accessible on the city’s website www.bgohio.gov.
The city is asking residents to leave their leaves unstowed at the curb, keeping bags, poles, mailboxes and other objects clear. This is to avoid blockages and fire risk. Brush and yard debris should be excluded from the leaf piles.
Residents can choose to drop off their leaves at the site located behind the Public Works garage on Tarragon Drive. Please be aware that brushes and branches are not allowed. Another option is to mulch the leaves with a mower, which provides nutrients to the yard.
A second leaf collection round is expected to happen sometime in December. If you would like to learn more, visit the Leaf Collection Map and Guidelines at https://www.bgohio.gov/471/Leaf-Collection
