BG Falcon Media asked students around campus for their opinion on the price of textbooks this semester.

Levi Crandall
Freshman, Creative Writing Major
“Most of my classes don’t require the textbook this semester, but I remember last semester when a lot of them did. I felt like the price was too much, because I feel like it should be included in tuition.”

Natalie Coffey
Freshman and Criminal Justice Major
“I feel like they’re reasonably priced, because I don’t have to buy any big textbooks. Mine are online, but I have to buy the online textbook. So I feel like they’re reasonably priced for the online version of them.”

Elijah Fleischer
Sophomore and Aviation Major
“I paid $230 for four different books this semester. But my prices are different because I’m paying for aviation stuff and anything aviation is marked up. Everything aviation-grade is more expensive.”

Katie Johnson
Junior, Communication and Public Relations Major
“Most of my courses do not require online books this semester, or they give me all the materials. I did have to buy two books, which were like 57 and 60 dollars and I feel like I do utilize them frequently, so I’m willing to pay in order to get a good grade in my class.”
