Howard’s Club H will host a music event, Notes 4 Tomorrow, to raise funds for music educators in Northwest Ohio on Saturday, April 18, according to a recent press release from The Joseph Wolph Foundation for Music Education.
The Wolph Foundation has supported local music programs for several years, and since 2021, it has awarded nearly $20,000 in grants funding things like instrument replacement, marching band projects, scholarships and other needs. Notes 4 Tomorrow will be the first time that local musicians come together to support the foundation.
Performing artists from the Toledo area such as Jeff Stewart, Laurie Swyers, New Mon and Nikki D., will appear at the event. The press release also mentions that Howard’s owner, Steve Feehan, is a musician himself, and that he will debut his band at Notes 4 Tomorrow.
“Howard’s enjoys a special place in the music scene,” said Feehan. “Giving back is essential to that.”
Notes 4 Tomorrow is an all-ages show, with the entry fee being $10. Music is expected to start no later than 7:00 p.m.
The Wolph Foundation is also seeking volunteers for help with things like publicity, sponsorships, technical support, artist hospitality and social media. Those interested in volunteering can sign up through the website https://www.jwolphfoundation.org/events.
For those unable to attend the event, the foundation is accepting donations through their website listed above.
