Bowling Green State University (BGSU) held its annual Educator Career Fair on March 25, attracting more than 100 school districts and reinforcing its position as one of the largest teacher job fairs in the country.
As part of the event, hundreds of BGSU students networked directly with employers, with some participating in same-day interviews.
Being the top producer of teachers in Ohio, BGSU focuses on robust teacher preparation, graduating over 480 new educators in 2025 alone, with alumni placed in nearly every kindergarten through 12th-grade district throughout the state.
More than 2,000 students are currently enrolled in BGSU’s undergraduate teaching programs, with BGSU ranked as the leading institution in Ohio for career readiness.
Teacher candidates accumulate over 500 hours of classroom experience, which significantly surpasses state mandates and is highly regarded by employers.
Additionally, the university features innovative initiatives, including Ohio’s first dual-licensure program and a fully online alternative pathway to licensure to tackle teacher shortages.
