Former Falcon inks deal with Toledo Walleye

Former+Falcon+inks+deal+with+Toledo+Walleye

Former BGSU Falcon Sam Craggs, has signed on to play for the Toledo Walleye once again for the 2023-2024 season. For Craggs, it will be his second full-season in a Walleye uniform and third overall with the team.

Craggs tallied 10 goals and 10 assists over 60 games during his first full season with the team and helped propel the team to another deep playoff run.

The Walleye have also extended a qualifying offer to Sam’s older brother Lukas, another former Falcon. The two started the season together in Toledo for the 2022-2023 season before Lukas was called up to play for the Grand Rapids Griffins of the AHL. Shortly after being called up, Lukas suffered an injury that kept him out for the remainder of the season.

Sam is one of six players currently signed to the Walleye for 2023-2024 with the other five being: Mitchell Lewandowski, Brandon Hawkins, Conlan Keenan, Thomas Farrell, and Jake Willets.
