Jimmy Walker is taking the reins at Creighton as the next Head Coach of the women’s soccer program.

Creighton Athletics Director Marcus Blossom announced on Tuesday morning that Walker will be the sixth head coach in program history.

In Walker’s four seasons at BGSU he led his team to two Mid-American Conference (MAC) regular season and tournament championships. The Falcons reached the MAC Semifinals or better in every season under Walker.

Bowling Green’s two MAC championships under Walker moved Bowling Green ahead of Toledo for most MAC Tournament Titles in conference history with six since the tournament began in 1997.

(Via Creighton Athletics): “I’m excited to welcome Coach Walker as our head women’s soccer coach,” said Blossom. “Jimmy is a passionate leader, purposeful developer and tireless recruiter that has earned success at many levels. I look forward to supporting him, his staff and our student-athletes as they compete for BIG EAST championships.”
