Announced this morning on Bowling Green men’s basketball’s X account, both Youssef Khayat and Javontae Campbell will return to the Falcons for the 2025-26 season.
Campbell, who earned All-MAC third team and All-MAC defensive team, entered the transfer portal on March 25, will now return to the Orange and Brown.
“We could not be more excited for the return of Javontae. Special person and talent! Can’t wait for the next chapter,” said head coach Todd Simon on X.
Campbell averaged 14.9 points per game, set the Bowling Green record for steals in a single season (90), played most of the season with a broken hand and finished the season playing with two broken hands.
Khayat appeared in six games for the Orange and Brown in 2024, before missing the rest of the season due to injury.
Before his injury, the Beirut, Lebanon native averaged 8.5 points per game, 3.2 rebounds and shot 53.3% from the field. Khayat previously played for Michigan before transferring to Bowling Green during the 2024 offseason.
With Campbell removing himself from the portal, just six Falcons remain in the transfer portal: Jamai Felt, Marcus Johnson, Wilguens Jr. Exacte, Trey Thomas, Derrick Butler and DaJion Humphrey.
