The BGSU women’s soccer team has revealed its schedule for the 2026 season. The Orange and Brown will play at Cochrane Stadium nine times, along with 10 away matches.
Bowling Green begins the season at home against a Big Ten opponent in Purdue on Aug. 5, followed by an away match against Notre Dame on Aug. 9.
The Falcons return home to face Robert Morris on Aug. 16, before back-to-back road games against Cincinnati and Oakland on Aug. 23 and Aug. 27, respectively.
Continuing their trend of Power Four opponents, BGSU returns to Cochrane Stadium to face Michigan on Aug. 30, then travel to Kentucky on Sept. 6.
The team then hosts multiple home matches in a row for the only time of the year, facing Detroit Mercy on Sept. 10 and Eastern Michigan on Sept. 17. EMU also begins Mid-American Conference (MAC) play for the Falcons, with the remaining 10 matches all being within the conference.
The Orange and Brown then head on the road for two matches in five days against Akron and Central Michigan on Sept. 20 and Sept. 25, respectively.
Bowling Green begins the month of October at home against UMass on the first of the month, then turns around for away matches against Western Michigan on Oct. 4 and Ball State on Oct. 10.
The Battle of I-75 will be played between the Falcons and Rockets on Oct. 15 at Cochrane Stadium.
Bowling Green will finish out their last four matches of the regular season going back and forth between home and away games. The Falcons stay in Ohio for the remainder of the season with matches at Kent State and Miami (OH) on Oct. 18 and Oct. 29, and home matches against Buffalo and Ohio on Oct. 24 and Nov. 1.
The Orange and Brown finished the 2025 season with a 10-3-9 overall record and a 4-1-7 record in MAC play. They also found themselves in the conference championship match and lost 1-0 to Western Michigan.
