Bowling Green announced the final phase of South Main Street Waterline Improvement and Paving Project will begin the week of June 30, including work on curb, drainage repairs, sidewalk, and road resurfacing between Ordway Avenue and the southern city limits.
One lane traffic going each direction will remain open throughout construction and temporary intersection closures are expected. Final paving is anticipated by late September with traffic signal upgrades to follow.
More improvements will include pedestrian beacons, turn lanes at Napoleon Road, planting of 80 new trees, and new ADA-compliant ramps.
