While the past week felt like summer had really arrived (though it officially begins next Friday), Mother Nature continues to act as if she hasn’t gotten the memo.
According to the National Weather Service, there’s a chance of rain beginning this evening and running right through Saturday night. The Weather Channel forecast calls for heavy rain Saturday night. On top of that, when the temperature drops below 70 this evening, it won’t eclipse that mark again until Sunday. That’s right, a cool, damp Saturday on tap.
Next week is a different story, because as we prepare for summer’s official start Friday, we’ll ramp up with late summer-type weather – hot and humid. We’ll see highs in the 80s with plenty of sticky humidity with some midweek scattered thunderstorms.
