“Sunny day, Sweepin’ the clouds away” or so goes the theme song to Sesame Street, but it also describes the forecast for move-in weekend.

While Tuesday saw stormy weather that left clouds lingering into Wednesday, the forecast for this weekend is picture-perfect for students returning to campus.

The National Weather Service forecast calls for sunny days with highs ranging from the high 70s to the low 80s for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

That being said, it is August, which means humidity will be in play. The Weather Channel is calling for humidity from the mid-60% to mid-70%, which is considered mildly muggy. Friday evening will be the outlier with a relative humidity of 85%. If you’re engaged in physical activity, you’ll definitely feel it.

While you’re moving stuff into your apartment, home or dorm, keep these tips in mind:

• Wear light, breathable fabrics (cotton, linen)
• Stay hydrated
• Seek shade or breeze when possible
• Plan strenuous activities for morning or evening
