Former Mid American Conference (MAC) player of the year and Bowling Green ring of honor member Anthony Stacey is returning to Falcon’s men’s basketball to join head coach Todd Simon’s assistant coaching staff.
Stacey played for Bowling Green from 1996 to 2000, where he played small forward and finished his playing career with 1,938 points. Years later, Stacey joined the assistant coaching staff for Bowling Green from 2015 to 2020 before being hired as the head coach for Whitmer High School.
Stacey joins the coaching staff as its newest member, replacing former assistant coach German Srulovich, who stepped away from coaching to join Weave Representation.
Bowling Green’s season begins on Oct. 23, when the Falcons take on Michigan State at the Breslin Center.
