On Sept. 30 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Bowling Green State University (BGSU) will host a free Health Fair and Farmers Market in the Bowen-Thompson Student Union’s Lenhart Grand Ballroom.
Indulge in culinary delights, as chefs share tips, tricks and secrets for preparing fresh dishes. The fair also offers a smoothie bike to blend a healthy snack and of course, farm-to-table farmers market produce.
On the side of physical health, the Falcon Health Center and the Wood County Hospital are providing health screenings, information and COVID-19 vaccinations (for those 65 or older) and flu vaccinations. Please provide your insurance card. Additionally, insurance plan vendors will gladly answer any BGSU staff questions about their employee insurance.
Mental health support is also highlighted. PAWS TEAM therapy dogs will help relieve attendees’ stress and self-care stations, giveaways and raffles are sure to soothe.
This free event is a joint effort of many on-campus offices, including Human Resources, Dining and Recreation, and off-campus partnerships; it is open to all community members. Stop by to promote wellness, spread positivity and enjoy connectivity with the BGSU support team.
