Bowling Green’s first pilates studio, Studio Inferno, is coming to North Main Street and can provide residents a chance to improve both physical and mental health.
Studio Inferno is currently under construction and one of its owners, Jovana Cvjetkovic, said they’ll have a soft opening in the next few weeks for residents to see what they have to offer.
“We want to make sure that when we open our doors, the community is getting the best of us,” Cvjetkovic said.
Cvjetkovic said the studio will have sculpt and pilates classes that are both in a heated environment, which comes with many benefits.
She said some of these benefits include increased flexibility, heart health or increased endurance.
“You’re working your mind and your body equally,” Cvjetkovic said.
Cvjetkovic said she’s running the women-owned business alongside Monica Socha, resident of Bowling Green and Emily Horney, who’s taught pilates for several years.
“When the opportunity presented itself to bring something like this to the community, it was just a no-brainer,” Cvjetkovic said.
She said that one of the membership packages they’ll be providing will accommodate students at BGSU.
Out of their standard packages, the student monthly fee for unlimited classes is $110, according to their price list posted on their social media. Other packages for monthly unlimited classes for non-students are $130 with autopay and $140 or $20 for a single drop-in class.
She said they chose Bowling Green for their studio to bring in a way for residents to not only benefit their well-being but also feel a sense of community.
“We recognize that this is a community that values connection, movement and growth. So, we said let’s go ahead and provide a space for people to come and just be able to recharge, challenge themselves and also feel inspired,” Cvjetkovic said.
Cvjetkovic said their studio will bring in an exciting energy with their workouts, and will also be easily accessible for residents.
“We’re going to be blending luxury fitness with a genuine community right here in the heart of town,” Cvjetkovic said.
The studio posts updates of its opening on Facebook at Studio Inferno BG or Instagram @studio_inferno_bg.
