Bowling Green State University’s (BGSU) School of Art will host “Italy in the Artist’s Imagination,” a student-curated exhibition showcasing works from the BGSU Fine Arts Center Galleries and pieces created by BGSU faculty, students and alumni.
For more than 50 years, the School of Art has sent students and faculty to Florence, Italy, for immersive study in Italian art and culture. The exhibition highlights this long-running tradition and features artworks inspired by the transformative experience of studying abroad. Drawn from BGSU’s University Art Collection and recent creative work, the show explores how Italy continues to shape the artistic perspectives of the campus community.
The exhibition runs till Dec. 10, 2025, at the Dorothy Uber Bryan Gallery in the Fine Arts Center. The event is free and open to the public.
