Bowling Green State University graduate students will be putting their communication skills to the test during the annual Three Minute Thesis competition (3MT). This is an event that challenges researchers to present their work to an audience in only three minutes while avoiding technical terms.
The deadline to register is Friday, Feb. 6, and if selected, the competitors need to have their presentation slide submitted by 5 p.m. on Feb. 13.
The competition will be held on Feb. 19, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. in the Bowen Thompson Student Union Room 206, which is the theatre.
They will offer the following prizes:
First place will receive $500, second place gets $300 and third place will receive $200.
The first-place winner will also be entered into the Midwestern Association of Graduate Schools 3MT competition, held on March 27, 2026, in Kansas City, MO.
