Event highlights 48-hour music
It’s a 48-hour event where a composer has 24 hours to write a piece for their randomly paired performer. The next 24 hours are when a performer learns the piece the composer wrote and at the end of the 48 hours, the performer performs the piece. Praecepta, a student chapter of the Society of Composers, is promoting new music activities for students and staff. This concert takes place on Tuesday, Jan. 27, at 8 p.m. in the Bryan Recital Hall of the Moore Musical Arts Center. The event is free and will also be livestreamed on BandDirector.
