With the start of the new semester, students can find ways to get connected with others on campus. Many of the organizations on campus have information about them online, as well as flyers around campus.
Clubs:
BGSU offers over 360 different clubs on campus. Ranging from performing arts to chess and euchre clubs, every student has the chance to find a club to join. Each club can create a social media page to help advertise its meeting times and gain new members for their group. BGSU also provides students with access to read about each club online at their student organizations page.
Dormitory events:
Each dorm has hall events throughout the semester, where residents can get together with others on their floor or in their building. Each dorm hall will have posters or announcements about its events. Residents can expect events to range from various events throughout the semester. So make sure to keep an eye out for hall events!
Sports:
Students at BGSU have the opportunity to participate in intramural, club and collegiate athletics. Intramural sports have their own website, where students can find how to register for their sports. With club sports, their information can be found on the student organizations website as well as the club sports site. The collegiate athletics can recruit students for BGSU’s teams with the requirements they have posted online.
Greek Life:
BGSU has many different ways for students to be in Greek life. With four main sections that are organized in: National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC), Multicultural Greek Council (MGC), College Panhellenic Conference (CPC) and Interfraternity Council (IC). During the spring semester, some CPC sororities and fraternities participate in Continuous Open Binding (COB). Each chapter has information available online and on social media for those who are interested in going Greek to start their recruitment process.
